Have you ever had trouble figuring out what to do with your spare mags when carrying a concealed weapon? You’re not alone. Most people just throw an extra magazine in their coat pocket or worse yet, don’t even carry extra ammo. There has never really been a good solution to this problem… Until now that is.

What is the Snagmag Concealed Carry Magazine Holster?

The title kind of gives it away but the Snagmag is not a typical concealed carry holster. The Snagmag is a holster in disguise!

That’s right. The Snagmag is designed to look like a typical pocket knife while in your pocket.

The concept is ingenious but stupidly simple. And simple is of course important. We’ve all heard of the acronym KISS – “Keep It Simple Stupid” and this concealed carry holster is just that.

The holster is made out of kydex and really only has two very simple features. It has a belt clip (much like a knife) and most importantly it has a “snag” or barb that catches the inside of your pocket to remain in place while drawing your magazine.

The Snagmag is small, lightweight, and allows a easy and natural motion that your likely familiar with for indexing magazines.

Here a video demonstration for your viewing pleasure:

Considering the lack of options for magazine placement, the Snagmag definitely stands out as one of the better concealed carry methods.

This holster is available for most handguns that you would consider carrying and is capable of both single and double stack magazines.

Snagmag Setup

If you’re like me you always carry Glock. I like Glock’s for their simplicity and ease of use. I believe the Glock 19 is the best concealed carry gun that you can have. Pair the Glock 19 with a Glock 17 magazine and you have a nice mid-size pistol with the extended round capacity of a full size. When loaded to the best condition possible you have 18 rounds ready to go and another 17 on standby when using the Snagmag.

That’s 35 total rounds!!

…And the best part is that nobody even knows you’re carrying a gun. Click here to see the review from GunDigest.

The Snagmag retails for $39.95 and the gundigeststore.com is the exclusive online dealer so if you are looking for a simple way to carry concealed magazines you can order through them.
